Once again we turn to Mr Robbins for our seasonal offering, which combines the old tale of the arboreal tots with, for some reason, Robin Hood and His Merrie Men!

Mercifully for our audiences' sensitivity, and without giving too much away, historical accuracy is not within the author's remit and we are left with the usual Pantomime fare of naive goodies, black-hearted baddies and several theatrical types dressing up in ways they wouldn't dream of at home. Or at least if they would they haven't let on!

Add a few jokes that are topical providing the Producer's pencil gets to them in time and a sprinkling of the usual Pantomime magic and you have a memorable experience for all the family!

These are some of the many backstage people you don't usually see - the stage and lighting crew!

Left to right: Peter Breaks (stage crew) Sandie Smith (lighting) Eric Tomlinson (stage manager) Andrew Jackson (lighting) Fred Wells (stage crew)

Nobody made them wear the dunces' caps - for some reason they thought it was appropriate!
