Welcome to the Otley in Bloom website. In these pages we'll show you some of the exciting projects and activities that we as a Group take part in. On this website you can read about how the group was formed and also review its main areas of work. You can share our pleasure about winning a number of Awards. and find out about the success we've had with our fundraising and grants. We always have a challenging array of projects on the go and rely on a great deal of voluntary effort to complete them - perhaps you'd like to join us for some of these. As a group we have an offical Constitution which describes how we go about our work and a set of Notices which shows in more detail the office holders and key dates for this year. The Otley Town Enhancement Study was a major piece of work for the group and there's a section which describes this contribution to the town and the projects that are being done as a result of it. Look at our Gallery and sample some of the Meeting Minutes if you'd like to learn a little more about our work. We've included some useful links and there's some information about how to get in touch with us. The information on these pages changes from time to time as we make progress with our plans so you might want to come back and visit the site again. You'll see we've included some monthly gardening tips as well. In addition, the banners and inset floral images on this website change with the seasons. And in fact each time you visit a page - or refresh it - you'll be shown new images from our collection. How to move round the website. The Otley in Bloom Calendar In 2007 the Otley in Bloom group branched out into the design and distribution of a pictorial 2008 calendar. These were sold at outlets across Otley and the proceeds have been earmarked for the continuing Gateways Project. More... Members of our group contributed photos from around the town and surrounding area. These pictures were at different times of the year and showed the changing seasons. Otley is a beautiful town and we're fortunate to have so many attractive views to enjoy.. We had a dedicated team of people who followed the project through from start to finish. This involved many stages and has been a great learning experience for us. It has seemed that the calendar has been very popular both to residents and visitors to the town and that they now have it hanging it their home - providing a persistent reminder about Otley in Bloom and the work that it tackles. Otley in Bloom has a new phone number - 0845 009 7642 The Otley in Bloom group has now set up a new contact number. This number is the one to call to find out more about the Group's activities and current projects. Because its a 'non-geographic' number we'll be able to use this one from year to year.
