- Parks dept have Library grounds contract.
- Yorkshire in Bloom preparation continues – new criteria this year.
- Prince Henrys project continues.
- Gateways project – Pool Rd continues.
- Publicity events this year – press releases, green fair and walking festival.

The main issues discussed in the meeting were:
- Railings needed on back wall to replace barbed wire – quotes to be obtained.
- Winter baskets to be put under Buttercross this year.
- Bradford Road project continues.
- Yorkshire in Bloom Spring judging imminent – no date yet.

The main issues discussed in the meeting were:
- The current projects were reviewed.
- Future Task Force events were confirmed.
- Plans for the coming YiB judging were looked at.
- Ideas for tasks to take on were discussed.

The main issues discussed in the meeting were:
- Yorkshire in Bloom preparation for Summer judging has begun.
- Walking festival Otley in Bloom walk.
- Pool Road Gateway – site clearance.
- Bradford Road project – consultation with residents to begin.
- Several untended plots around the town identified the owners of two are to be contacted – LCC contacted about the public space.

Tuesday 2nd June 2009
The main issues discussed in the meeting were:
- Group decided to proceed with railings on back wall of memorial garden subject to owners approval.
- Yorkshire in Bloom Summer judging plans continue.
- Pool Road Gateway done as Dry Stone wallers had availability at late notice.
- Bradford Road tree planting project continues – funding being sourced.
- Business support to be requested, businesses with LCC planters outside their premises to be asked to help with watering in hot summer weather.
- Bus Station enhancements discussed 18 months ago are to go ahead, we are unclear why we have been asked for H&S guidelines for planting when we have only offered use of planters and advice.

Tuesday 7th July 2009
The main issues discussed in the meeting were:
- Attempts to get litter cleared in Weir have failed.
- 2 Community projects identified.
- Grass cutting contract discussed.
- Next phase of Gateways project to be Ellar Ghyll and Ilkley Road.
- Bradford Road tree planting – consultation complete and some funding in place to be matched by OIB.
Planting to be done in the Autumn by LCC Forestry.
- Yorkshire in Bloom judging next week.
- Future plans for the group and individual volunteers likes and dislikes were discussed so that OIB can clarify our role in the town with OTC.
