GAME TIME was an afternoon packed with competitions and games. On the 4th April more than 40 young people ranging from primary, right up to yr11 turned up to take part in the Wii Competitions, twister, buzz wire and even had an attempt at guessing the Grand National Winner that day. The biggest draw was of course the Nintendo Wii games, which kept all involved entertained. Those that were top of the winning table kept coming back to see if anyone had managed to steal their place. With two competition categories; Under 12 and 12+, it was amazing to see just how much skill is involved with those tiny hand held controllers and that age really doesn’t matter. The greatest surprise of the day was in the Wii Sonic Olympic games when a 7yr old managed to score the largest score of the day and set a new Sonic Olympic record! No one came close to the massive 8metres plus long jump! The afternoon was a huge success and raised a great total for the youth funds...a starting block for getting Rachel a data projector for her ministry! With several Easter egg prizes, cakes and a tuck shop it was hard not to enjoy the afternoon. Thank you to all that came. |
