PARISH SOCIAL EVENING – will be held in the school hall on Saturday 3^rd February, from 7.30 to 11.00 pm. There will be musical entertainment and a hot supper. Tickets are priced £7 and will be on sale after Mass, or from Margaret Poole, Anne Cooney or Agnes Skeoch. Money raised will go to our Uganda parish to help get them a well.

CAKE SALE – WORLD CHALLENGE EXPEDITION The young people of our parish who are raising funds for the Himalayas Project 2008 are holding a cake sale, in Clitherow House, after 9.30 Mass next Sunday 4^th February. A variety of delicious cakes and buns can be purchased. Everybody is welcome.

THE ISRAEL PALESTINE CONFLICT – A study day will be held on 24^th February at URC (Bridge Church) to explore the issues surrounding this long term tragedy. This free study day is from 9.30 to 4.30 with tea and coffee provided – bring your own lunch please. The leader for the day is a tutor on a joint church project working in this area.
