Some eighteen months ago it was decided that with the 150th anniversary of the church soon to be upon us it was an appropriate time to publish a book detailing the history of our church.

The Parish History Group has over many years painstakingly gathered much information and many photographs detailing the story of our Parish.

Having all this information available, the Parish Communication Group undertook the task of compiling photographs and extracts from this information and from other sources into a form suitable for a book and then to liase with the printers to see the project through to completion.

The book was recently completed.
Entitled "The Story of a Parish" and sub-titled "150 Years of Praise" it was launched and was well received on 7th December 2001.
